Dr. Sachdeva grew-up in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated with honors from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, a magnet school of math and science. He pursued his medical training mainly in New York, completing his medical degree and internal medicine residency training at New York Medical College. He served on the medical faculty, before relocating to Chapel Hill. He completed his training with a fellowship in gastroenterology from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He is board certified in both gastroenterology and hepatology.
He joined the practice in 2002. The majority of his practice is concentrated in the North Raleigh and Wake Forest area. Some of his clinical intersts include inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, high-risk colo-rectal cancer, and hepatology. He presently serves as the Director of Endoscopy at Wake Endoscopy Center.
He lives in Raleigh with his wife and two daughters. On his free time, he is very active in managing “dads-N-daughter” activities. Some of his personal interests including biking, rafting and traveling with his family.
