Dr. Jagannath grew up in Baltimore, MD. After receiving his medical degree from The University of Maryland School of Medicine, he completed his residency training at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Following his residency, he completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Throughout his career, Dr. Jagannath spent many years on the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has authored numerous publications and has lectured throughout the United States and abroad. He founded the Johns Hopkins Pancreatitis Center and joins us after being the Director of the Pancreas Center at Mercy Medical Center. Some of his clinical interests include pancreatic and biliary disorders, pancreatic cancer, infectious colitis, and all types of GI cancers. Dr. Jagannath specializes in Endoscopic Ultrasound.
